The Yahoo Purple Hunt kicked off its 4th and final phase last July 14, 2009. As part of the gimmick for the event, the Yahoo Purple Hunt Microsite has started to fall apart to slowly reveal the location of the grand finale event. Participants must now guess the secret location in the Purple Hunt microsite before the location is fully revealed. ìGuessingî period is from July 14, 2009 to July 24, 2009. Those who guess the venue correctly will receive a confirmation e-mail from Yahoo. And this will serve as their pass to join the final Purple Hunt on July 25, 2009. The grand winner of the hunt will get a one-of-a-kind purple Honda Jazz.

Mechanics for the Final Purple Hunt
1. Bring a copy of your confirmation email
and a government issued ID upon registration.
2. Participants should wear purple.
3. You must be 18 and above to qualify.
4. Phase 2 and 3 winners can still qualify to compete for phase 4.
Several activities are in place to entertain the non-hunters as the hunt for the Purple Jazz progresses, such as Purplescape Exhibition, the Project Purple Showcase, interactive games, and many more. The event winds down with the presentation of prizes for winners of Phases two to four. And finally ends with a concert finale featuring local artists.
