Honda Cars Philippines made a splash at the World Trade Center during the recently concluded 2nd Philippine International Motorshow with the launch of the All-New Honda Jazz.

The unveiling of the country's first Fun Utility Vehicle, the All-New Honda Jazz, fired up the fun at the motorshow.  With a live band and a DJ, hourly raffles throughout the four days, exciting games with equally exciting prizes and a host of limited edition special Honda tokens being given away.  It was no wonder that the Honda booth was the most frequented venue in the event.  And to top it off, they had several shows hosted by none other than UAAP courtside host Tracy Abad, and graced by celebrities like singer Nancy Jane and MTV VJ Mark Abaya.

Also present was Mr. Shimizu, President & General Manager of Honda Cars Philippines, who discussed Honda Jazz's latest innovations.  Such as the ULTRA seats, which allows the seats to be configured according to cargo needs. He went through some of the seat configurations like: the Utility Mode for relatively hefty cargo; the Long Mode for items as long as 2400mm; and the Tall Mode for items up to 1.28 meters in height. He also discussed how the Jazz was designed to have a spacious interior cabin for the ultimate driving comfort. Add to that the fuel-efficient 1.3 and 1.5-liter engines which allows one to experience the true meaning of joyrides. Mr. Shimizu went on to say that the All-New Honda Jazz had also been fitted with various fuel tracking devices for better fuel monitoring and was equipped with the first in its class 5-speed automatic transition, which lets the car pick up speed without putting additional strain on the engine.  He also mentioned how structurally, the Honda Jazz's front pillar was moved up to create a new body structure and to meet Honda's high safety requirements. All in all, Mr. Shimizu's presentation made the guests truly appreciate Honda's dedication to comfort, safety and innovation.

To further add to the excitement, GD United--a group of first generation Honda Jazz owners, organized a motorcade to welcome the All-New Honda Jazz. (see related article)

From start to finish, it was truly a fully-loaded, fun-packed launch for the country's first Fun Utility Vehicle.  The All-New Honda Jazz.
